President Trump’s visit to Israel will be of two days starting this Monday.
Well we can not forget that Trump ran a pro-Israel campaign and his election was also major welcome news in Israel. Just after Trump decided to tap three Orthodox Jews – Ambassador David Friedman, son-in-law Jared Kushner, and adviser Jason Greenbelt – this only went in their favor. Israeli after a meeting with President Trump at the White House in February, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told reporters
“We do not have a greater friend than Donald Trump,”
But Since Trump’s visit to Saudi Arabia, the controversies regarding his intentions is heating up back home but it looks like President Trump’S Israeli friends are not so happy either.
Some weeks earlier, President Trump disclosed some heavy material over a meeting with Lavrov at the White House.
The news was regarding Israel which had been the source of ISIS related Intelligence about a laptop bomb threat that Trump had given Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
After which a former chief of the Israeli intelligence, Danny Yatom, told a Tel Aviv radio station that, if true, Trump’s disclosure was likely to cause “heavy damage” to Israeli and American security, especially if it reaches the Iranians. “There will be a loss of faith services between the intelligence,” he said.
However, this is not the only thing controversial here,
Last September, then-candidate Trump pledged to Netanyahu “that the United States, under a Trump administration, will finally accept the long-standing Congressional mandate to recognize Jerusalem as the undivided capital of the State of Israel.” Tied to Trump’s assurance is the promise to move the US embassy to Jerusalem.
It is said that The Palestinians will withdraw recognition of Israel if Trump moves US Embassy in Jerusalem.
I guess we’ll have to wait a bit longer to see what President Trump has planned for his Great America after all.
