Top 5 Places to Visit in Dubai

1. Dubai Fountains

The vast fountain is in the city center of Dubai, right next to Burj Khalifa. The first show starts at 7:30 PM, a good time for you to relax and take some heat off in the summer. Dubai’s fountains are indeed a sight to behold in the backdrop of the night sky! With its twists and turns, the water dances amidst the light. Huge crowds build up around the water area just outside the Dubai Mall and feet away from the record breaking Burj Khalifa. The music starts and then the totally mesmerizing dancing Fountains all beautifully lit. A must see attraction when in Dubai. Add it onto a visit to the Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa. You can fit in all attractions in one morning then. The fountains are free and there is one daytime showing but I would recommend the evening shows to see the real WOW factor.

2. Burj Khalifa

Dubai’s most iconic building and the world’s tallest; it towers above the Dubai city line and can be seen from anywhere. Do go up to the viewing platform; it’s a sight to behold. The views are truly incredible – you get to see what an Oasis Dubai really is when compared to the vast desert surrounding it. The building itself is majestic – the history of its construction was very interesting. It gets really busy so recommend going early in the morning when they open – you will have less crowds to fight off to take pictures on the viewing decks. Although night time is also incredible to see.

3. The Dubai Mall

This Mall is crazy big, but it’s so beautiful with all the fancy modern shops and you can get everything in Dubai Mall! If you go outside you can see the Burj Khalifa! You must visit the Dubai Mall, but don’t visit the mall in the weekend after 4 pm a lot of people are going to the mall in the weekend. Great selection of shops, places to eat and entertainment. You find all brands from High Street, Fashion to Luxury in all shopping categories. Department stores and mono brands. Along with restaurants and entertainment & activities. For solo & family visitors. Always a busy mall but you can also find more quiet places.

4. Burj Al Arab

Dubai’s most iconic building is also its most luxurious and possibly the world’s premier hotel. While a room costs a couple of lakhs a night, the experience is once in a lifetime and well worth it! Great place to chill with the family. You can skate, you can run around and horseplay. You can feel the poshness even as you entered the hotel itself. The pianist plays very nice modern and classical music. Fully recommend to do it at least once in a lifetime. Beats any top 5 star hotel in the world. Sheer opulence and a real treat if you like to pamper you.

5. Aquaventure Waterpark

One of the best themed water parks! Spacious and fun! We loved the zigurrat in aquaventure and also the tubes and rapids. This is one of those places you just have to visit if you are in Dubai with kids. It’s a fun day out without a care. Everything is based around having a good time. There are many rides and moreover water fountains on walk path are great idea considering 50 degrees heat in city. A Must visit – it’s worth every penny if you are confused between Wild Wadi. You can spend in there from morning till evening with your family.
