ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has urged the opposition parties and leaders to join hands with the incumbent government and develop the country.
Nawaz, while addressing a meeting of the PML (N) parliamentary party here on Friday, said the PML-N govt worked very hard and now everyone can see development projects being completed on a fast pace with utmost transparency and efficiency.
He said the government is determined to bring positive reforms in governance despite opposition from various segments.
The premier said the government is accountable to the people of Pakistan and they will decide as to who delivered and who did not.
“Today’s Pakistan is much stronger and stable than the one which the present government inherited with huge problems in 2013,” he insisted.
Referring to allocations for the next financial year, he said one trillion rupees development budget is unprecedented in the history of the country. The government is also focused on the development of Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and FATA.
