In Spain, A 12-year-old boy has made a huge mistake, he reportedly tortured up $112,000 bill when he was confused in the words Google’s AdWords and Google AdSense platforms while promoting his band.
According to Spain’s El Pais, Jose Javier, a trumpet player in a band called Los Salerosos, has experienced $112,000 bill from Google after he mistakenly signed up for Google AdWords, not Google AdSense.
Apparently, Javier was thinking that he would be able to make money when many people will click on his advertisement, so he signed up for the Google AdWords instead of Google AdSense.
AdSense is the service that Javier is looking for which allow people to earn money from advertisements on their websites.
In order to pay this huge amount, Javier wouls have to sacrifice all his aid money, but fortunately, Google has decided to forgive Javier and will cancel the bill.
However, this is a big mistake that google knows very well.
In a statement to NBC news, The company said:
“WE HAVE LOOKED INTO THIS CASE. WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY MONIES FROM THIS USER AND WE ARE CANCELING THE OUTSTANDING ADWORDS BALANCE.”
